It's just PD. And the dock would be compatible if the adapter is more than 45w.

For those who keep going in circles talking about USB is USB. Nope. Nintendo had included USB C to charge their Switch before USB C PD was finalized. Hence the issue with all the third party docks...

All third party docks have a high risk of bricking your Switch. I HIGHLY recommend against using one. Source: I bricked my Switch with a third party dock.
