I have both the regular m12 drill and the m12 Fuel hammer drill. For drilling into concrete, of course the hammer drill in required, but for any other purpose, I have found that the regular version...

You should use a hammer drill (preferably with an appropriate concrete bit) for concrete. The hammer function is what's really gonna knock the way through. Hell, even regular 20/18v drills with...

My buddy borrowed my m12 fuel and complained that it didn't have enough power. I was about to drive over with a bigger drill when he realized he'd drilled a 1/2" hole 6" deep with the drill running...

Yeah same here...interested in what he isndrilling into as the M12 fuel has plenty of power to drill through siding, stucco trim piece, etc.

Decent deal but the new 2x 3.0ah (same size as these) batteries with charger are only $99 right now in store. Think it said $139 value or something around there last night.

Good price for good tools. But the 1.5 AH batteries are too limiting. The biggest drawback of Gen-1 M12 tools is powerful (and therefore power-hungry) tools mated with underwhelming batteries....

I wouldn't buy this. I have the M12 Fuel, and it's barely strong enough to drill a hole to install my Nest cam/hello. I can imagine a non-Fuel version having much more trouble doing that.

Yep, I'd rather have 1x 1.5AH + 1x 6AH than 4x 1.5AH.. not only is it more overall energy capacity, it's less batteries to worry about losing and/or keeping charged. The 1.5s are nice because the m12...

I don't know that I would call free 1.5Ah packs a deal. I mean, last spring they were throwing in free M12 6Ah packs with a lot of the kits. It sounds to me more like Milwaukee trying to clear out...
