This is a better deal than the dfr9 for the same price? edit: I guess it depends what you need, longer range or GPS lockout. r1 for rural and dfr9 for suburban.

Oh Damn. Well, with the R3 and you have a Muted Point, it still shows the radar/frequency/level on the unit, but it says "mute" and doesnt sound

Dang the R3 was just 275 on urlhasbeenblocked, I don't even use the GPS filtering on my DFR7 but $75 wouldn't break the bank and would sell quicker later on if I wanted to upgrade. Not sure if i should wait...
