I own this camera...also own SOME g-master lenses. But seriously, you don't need them to take advantage of the body. Tamron makes a very nice 28-75 f2.8 that is fairly compact if you need a zoom...

Haha very true. WIfe is using Canon 5D mark IV (with or without grip) with 24-70 f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8 and bunch of primes. I own A7 M2 and M3 (both with battery grips) bodies with similar sony glass...

Nonsense. You can always buy more expensive lenses (I mean, nothing's stopping you from adapting a Zeiss Otus or medium format lens - or even video gear), but options such as the 16-35/4, 28-75/2.8...
