good price, the wheel is made by silicon carbide, probably would wear out after cutting just one tile/brick. you have to buy a metal cutting brade instead if need to cut more.

Definitely diamond over this but best option is they have special diamond wheels for pointing with about 1/4" thickness so you would need a lot less passes to take out old mortal (if budget is not a...

Diamond in a circular saw for sure if you're doing large sections. You can use diamond in an angle grinder for smaller areas, but it is slower and harder to keep a straight line. Either way you...

I did the 2 cut method with a diamond blade in a junk circular saw for where I needed an exact tight fit. For others a shallow cut to score it then hit it with the brick/mason chisel and hand...

No. This is a cutting wheel, not a grinding wheel. Just as with metal masonry uses two types of wheel. And for a driveway you'll probably be there a loooong time with a 4.5" grinder.

Their are a couple versions of this. If this is NOT like the HP, High Performance one, pass. They self destruct very easily. The HP versions can take a lot of abuse. Ace Hardware sells the HP version...

I would probably just score it with this and just use a wedge and hammer to split it. It will split decently but it won't be smooth. If you need it smooth you probably need to use a circular saw or...

With grinder it's smoother cuts but you'll need 7" blade or larger to cut through in one go (if pavers about 2" or thinner). Circar saw with 7-7 1/4" diamond blade is another option if blocks are...

That sounds like a frustrating time. I would use a concrete saw.

I used to have that fear and anxiety when using my angle grinder. Do what I do when I use it. Just close your eyes when you're using it. No see, no fear!!

Putting in a paver patio this year and wondering the "slickest" way to cut pavers? A lump hammer/brick chisel seems good. I have a wet saw but it's more for tile not bricks, and I'd have to cut...

I'm planning to do the same thing except to the city sidewalk in front of my driveway. For that kind of job a 9" grinder would be better but 4.5 will do it. You would want a concrete/masonry...
