i guarantee you any other no brand or neewer and the like tripods that look like this are well, this tripod. same thing with diff branding. this can be had for around $30-40 every few months.

Some are but for the most part there hasn't been a design innovation on it for a while until recently so that's why they all pretty much look the same. Also beware of knock offs.
