Significantly fewer pleats on these than comparable filtrete filters. More pleats = better airflow. In this instance, you get what you pay for.

I use 4 inch thick filters because 1) they last longer and 2) they have better air flow with higher MERV ratings. A MERV 11 in a 1inch is much more restrictive vs a MERV 11 in a 4inch thick filter....

Don’t just throw these in your furnace...Merv 11 is very restrictive for airflow, not all units will work well with this. Some won’t even allow this type of filter.
