Yeah that free one worked great. I needed to figure out if the motor was bad for my windshield washer pump or the wiring. Worked great and saved me lot of money.

Maybe it's just me, but I find auto-ranging to be a must-have feature on a multimeter. Only way I'd take a manual-range meter is if it's free.
