I know its only 1/5th the zoom but the RX10iii is really great outdoors, they can be found used around $700-$800. If you need faster focus, you can spring for the RX10iv.

That's about 25% cheaper than the $1000 US version selling price. I have a friend that was going to order it for $1000 this week. If he did we will probably take it out tomorrow.
