Perhaps the pickups are better, but those other changes are not βbetterβ for everyone. Not everyone likes Larger frets, and I prefer the vintage style trem(so I can slap on a real vintage trem)

Nice guitar, but if you are spending $450 - you will be better off with new Strat Player series. You can find Player Starts for sale for slightly more (around $500).

I bought the hss mim strat for 400 a few months back and absolutely love it, the sss sounds amazing too, can't go wrong with either imo. they feel solid and great quality.
