You'd have to get Bluetooth. They only put the connectors on the Pro line.

Nope. It won’t communicate with the iPad without the “Smart Connectors”... there’s no option to pair via Bluetooth.

It won’t work for the iPad Air 2. Even though the iPad Air 2 is also 9.7 inches, it doesn’t have the smart connector on the left side. The smart connector is only on the iPad Pros and the newest iPad...
