Although there is a newer model, the d7500, that model has a few downgrades.
They needed room for the d500 as the flagship crop sensor, and removed the second memory card slot and the nicer...

Sorry, but my knowledge is limited to DSLRs. From what I have seen from the reviews, Sony is at the top of that category. Both Nikon and and Canon have pricey and half baked solutions

That's an amazing deal to upgrade your pre-d7100, d5xxx, d3xxx body.
I would choose d7200 over d7500 even if they are very similar in price. If you already on d7100 and it still works - skip this...

There are some differences between the two, so check out the specs, depending on your needs. Both have a similar sensor and are great cameras. Some prefer the 7200.
