I had the LSiC for a number of years and was happy with it. When I upgraded towers from RTi8 to 705, I felt the LSiC was holding things back. Now with the 704 center, the sound from the front is...

I have a LSIC , would this be much of an upgrade? I’m guessing the smaller size might not be, I am running LSI15 towers but wasn’t sure if the sound changed much to the M series.

Don’t buy it unless you’re ok to buy 705/707 for at least $1500.its been more than a year no deal on those two.
So it won’t work well with other speakers and you will stuck with this speakee

I got it paired with s15 L/R(small room) and it's surprising a real good match. But I would do the 706 for the s60 to get a better tonal match.

Midnight Mahogany sounds like a move that might sound good on this center channel.

I’m hoping to drive them bi-amped with a Yamaha RX-A3080. They ran a package deal last year and I’m hoping they do again soon. I would run the main front L/R channels from the AVR to the towers’ top...

I think people are waiting for a sale on the matching front speakers. This speaker has been on sale multiple times, its been almost a year since the 707s have been a good deal.

Any thoughts on it this would match timbre, pair well with Polk RTi12 mains?
Debating between just running them 2.1, or adding a center

Possibly. The problem is that you want your LCR to be the same brand and family. So if you have Polk LCi L&R, this would be the perfect addition.

The Polk LSi M704C should give fuller sound than the S35 given it has larger 5.25" speakers compared to the 4" and 3" speakers in the S35. Also this is about the same price as the S30, which would...
