True, and kind of hard having image optical corrections at night, without an extremely powerful laser. Perhaps it would be possible with a dozen telescopes, spaced some distance apart, to counter...

I don't think I explained well; I probably shouldn't have implied that it was a telescope accessory. The laser pointer is just for pointing out things (like individual stars, or the stars that make...

How powerful does it need to be to cancel out the atmospheric aberrations? Also what software would I use and gear shaft to make instantaneous adjustments for the mirror? Or is correction software...

If you’ve got that sort of coin to invest as a starter then I would suggest something smaller. A few things: 1) This really isn’t suitable for a balcony. You’ll miss half the sky, and the base...

I never see a sale for a telescope beyond $500. Most of sale telescope is around $200. The 3camel shows historical lowest price for this telescope is $1880. Unless you are experienced stargazer, I...

I guess it just depends on the car. The Skywatcher 10 barely fit into the Volvo 240 I had when I first bought it, with the scope collapsed in the rear seat and the base in the trunk. The base alone...

I have a 14" dobsonian and it easily fits in my small mazda 3. Big scopes break down into small pieces. I suppose the go to makes it less flexible though...

Your comment was probably sarcastic, but without a filter, yes. You'll need a filter even for the moon.
