Bottom line on this: a fine deal (not crazy good by any means) if a large entry goto dobsonian is what your after. If you know this is what you want: good price on it.

I have a 14" dobsonian and it easily fits in my small mazda 3. Big scopes break down into small pieces.
I suppose the go to makes it less flexible though...

No, but use it as a guide to point your scope. You can get a finder scope instead as well, it's essentially a binocular aligned with your telescope to use to find and point in the right area.
