I don't believe that is correct, you might be getting confused about the differences between the **7 and **8 series like m557 and m558. G0 and G1 are just retailer differences.

Bought this from Best Buy a week ago for 399. They won’t price match because Best Buy’s sight has it listed as M507-G1 and Costco has it listed as M507.
