Bifen is a repellent. They won't ignore it. They'll avoid it until it breaks down a week later. It can make ant problems worse over time. Bifen is ok on other bugs, but it only lasts about 5-21...

This stuff doesn't kill a colony. They simply shift and come back. They can even split the colony and you end up with two. The mounds we see above ground are the tip of the antberg.

Nope. Nothing works for leaf cutters. They don't eat what they harvest, they use it to grow a fungus that they eat. They are nearly impossible to poison. You used to be able to get Volcano leafcutter...
