My situation is similar. I have two grandparents that needed quite a decent amount of blood on several occasions. I felt like paying it forward. I have a deathly fear of needles. But they did a blood...

I have to agree. I think something like a $25 gift card is more reasonable given how much it goes for.

I used to regularly give blood. They used to offer cookies and sometimes T-shirts. Chill people.

I donate blood 5-6 times a year and always do it when the red cross is running these $5 promotions. Granted, I would donate even if there was no incentive, but it's always nice to get something...

Hey guys, Does anyone know where I can donate my blood, and they will keep my name on a national donor list if I and my family need in the future? This is something like a saving account in a...

Methinks my blood is worth more than $5 Amazon. I will trade for a complementary hooters GC.

There's a Bloodmobile that always parks near my job at the movie theater that gives 2 tickets (max $12.50 each) via Atom tickets...MUCH better value IMO.

I really don’t think the $5 giftcard is what’s going to make someone decide to donate (personally). In my opinion I think the giftcard is more likely a motivation for people that were already...

I’m sure there are plenty of people willing and ready to do donate blood without any reward... I’ll be honest.. some people just aren’t comfortable to donate blood and they shouldn’t be convinced...

Unit of blood goes for $200-300. Should get a year of Prime. Red Cross is a bit better than private for-profit blood banks though.

I mean this is from the Red Cross, they run blood drives all the time and sometimes offer small incentives/gifts. If it was an amazon sponsored “$5 for a pint of your blood” type of thing that would...
