I ended up going with Amazon on a Payment Plan. They have it for $2495 in 5 equal monthly installments without any fees, and free shipping delivery scheduled in two days. Overall worth the peace of...

I was wondering the same thing. But I did make an offer at Greentoe, which only uses authorized retailers and they put in a counter offer of $2,295. So that may be an option for you.

Has anyone bought this from Gameliquidators? How long does the shipping take? Does Sony honor the warranty?

Okay, well list the ways that they're different then. Prove me wrong! They're almost the exact same TV minus the local dimming and a slightly different processor. Most users would be hard pressed to...

I bought this for $2499 a few weeks ago. At that time Dell also threw in a $500 gift card, $75 extra gift card if you belong to Dell program (free to join), and another cashback site had 12%...

Your personal opinions means squat. If you like it fine, but its vastly inferior by any objective measures to the 900f.

Has a so-so review on rtings.com, mostly issues around black uniformity (85" is better than the other smaller sizes) and the lack of local dimming. These negatives affect the movie viewing...

Sony doesn’t mess around on warranty tied to authorized sellers. I’m not sold on greentoe but you are sure to get it from an authorized shop so if the same deal can be found I’d go that way vs....

How far are you sitting from the TV? I have a 10.5' viewing distance and am eyeing an 85". According to rtings (and best buy personnel) it's too big. But I already got a 75" and felt it was too small.

LOL, way more than a step down? Have you even seen this TV in person? Has beautiful deep blacks. Only difference between the two models is no local dimming on the 850g in the 85" size and IMO, I...

With all the 2.39:1 content still being put out...I would add 26% to the size you think you need to compensate for the black bars on a standard 16:9 screen. This is more for the avid movie watchers...

No way. You can sit pretty close to an 85 without it losing quality. Especially with this model. 8k is for when you start getting over 100 inches. I figure a 120 inch 8K will be my next upgrade when...

I got the Sony X900F 75" over a year ago for this price. At the time I was worried I went to big. After setting it, it wasn't too big at all. The picture is amazing and the size is perfect. With 4k...
