I'd stick with the Klein, it won't ever fail you. This has a bad rap sheet for inconsistency, which isn't worth the savings.

Yep. My Sperry adjustable one became too untrustworthy to use and I replaced it with a Klein. I now have faith in a NCV detector again.

Buy the same model cheaper, and take it back to HD for your refund, as long as it's the same product. OR, contact HD and ask if they will price match retroactively.
