It is the TV motion processing issue, so any sources will have the same issue. However, motion is subjective, so you may want to check it at Best Buy and play around with settings to see how bad it...

Is motion poor because of the app itself or because of the TV ? In other words, I have no desire to use the onboard Vizio apps and will in fact be using a combo of various other devices like a shield...

I was just looking at the PX65 for $1,300. I realize this is a bigger TV. Has anyone had side by side experience between the P-series and PX-series? Is PX noticeably different?

No. But I would assume it is good as it performs well with Vudu content that I upload my digital movies to. But have never tried.

How about comparing the 'famed' anti-reflection etc. of the Q80/Q90 with the Vizio X ? The TV room has windows etc. unfortunately so that's a big consideration.

The Vizio X is better in contrast and brightness, but poorer in Motion. The Smart App of Samsung is much better. I think it comes down to how sensitive you are regarding the Motion.
