Image is wrong. This deal is for a 3rd party dock. Not worth bricking the console. You may as well just buy a 2nd switch, it comes with an official dock and you're gonna have to buy a new switch...

Fair enough. Yeah, I wouldn’t discourage people from trying other docks. Especially when it’s 50% cheaper than the official. But you can’t say the fear isn't there with some.

I don’t think you’re right. There issue is that Nintendo didn’t follow the spec themselves. Docks that followed the spec faired no better than the docks that didn’t follow it

^^ Insignia dock user here. Its been great and is perfect for travel since it is under half the size of the original dock. Highly recommend the Insignia dock.
