I am second on this. Android TV sounds perfect on paper. It is slow, freezed most of the time for me. I have Sony TV. I end up using a NVDIA Shield and couldn't be happier.

I maybe wrong but I think it's Greentoe business model to include tax and shipping in the price they offer. i saw it on a TV commercial. So i don't think it's a state dependent thing.
