you can do the trade in directly at Costco.
the only trade in promotion AT&T currently has is 300 bill credits spread over 30months.

The t-mobile samsung deal is better as tax on the higher priced Sprint samsung phones adds nearly a $100 difference. Plus Costco gift card only for Sprint vs instant $380 discount on T-mobile.

Currently for sprint at best buy. I can upgrade with the S10 for tax on $899 (current sprint customer)
Pay tax at the store on $899 then (my case $67) then 18.75 per month for 24 months on sprint...

IMO - go with Costco route for 3 months return and $420 will come for sure (best charge restocking fee on a cell phone) If you're member spending $420 won't be a problem :)
