I think they take them out prior to the sale. I got the email at 6 am, just so happens I was browsing for newegg cards and there were at least 20 cards available. I check as soon as I got the email...

Make sure you use gift cards from Raise the second you get them. First time I bought from them the card was purchased using a stolen credit card so the gift card company froze it.
