Do you need to reformat the drive after shucking it out? Meaning, if I store data on it and shuck it later, will I lose everything on it? My guess is no, but wanted to confirm. Thanks in advance.

I would be perfectly happy not shucking these drives if I could get a ready-made multi-device power supply for the barrel plug WD and Seagate use. No way I'm gonna trust the drives to my soldering...
