I would not recommend to give this to any dog because I bought one and gave to my 7 months old German Shepard. He broke in half and swallowed it all. Bad decision!

Sounds to me like people should monitor their pup with the toy just like any new thing. Once done with the center filing, throw it away. Tada pretty simple.

If your dog doesn't choke and die, there is still a chance the ingredients will kill him. Just like THOUSANDS of other dogs that have died because of Hartz crap.

I personally dislike nylabone-style plastic chews due to the risk of injury (read the critical reviews) but I'm probably in the minority and it's a good price (normally $5.30).
