An 11-year-old TV is probably not worth refurbishing unless you can get cheap parts from another TV. You might want to look into the TCL R615/617

may not worth it as the Q60 is the lowest QLED model while the RU8000 is a premium normal 4K tv. For $150 I would say yes but $300 is just too much.

I'm tempted by this after not pulling the trigger on the Sony 900F the other day. Would save ~$400 getting this, but it appears the 900F is a far superior tv.

I feel like MU8000 were built better, since MU were their flagship TV now RU are treated as old technology. I would keep the mu especially because of one connect.

Don't get 7100 or 7300. Only the 7400 at costco uses dynamic crystal color. The other models uses purcolor which is not full gamut. 7400 or higher or q series.
