An 11-year-old TV is probably not worth refurbishing unless you can get cheap parts from another TV. You might want to look into the TCL R615/617

People love to brag how they have a 10~15-year-old TV still going strong. Yeah... that was back when TVs were still made to last. Nowadays, it appears as if TVs have a built-in timer to...

may not worth it as the Q60 is the lowest QLED model while the RU8000 is a premium normal 4K tv. For $150 I would say yes but $300 is just too much.

Yes, the NU8000 has local dimming. It's crap since it is edge lit, but it is there. "The local dimming on the NU8000 is bad. It dims the screen less than the MU8000, but focuses the dimming on...

This or the Q60 series that’s currently on sale at Best Buy for $1295? Is Q60 worth the $300 difference? Any input would greatly be appreciated!

I'm tempted by this after not pulling the trigger on the Sony 900F the other day. Would save ~$400 getting this, but it appears the 900F is a far superior tv.

Don't get 7100 or 7300. Only the 7400 at costco uses dynamic crystal color. The other models uses purcolor which is not full gamut. 7400 or higher or q series.
