Nice, enjoy getting blacked! Nothing comes close to this card at this price. It even outperforms an 8gb rx580 on vast majority of games while being way more efficient.

Probably won't happen until they release the newer cards. That's what I'm waiting for.

I'm in for one. I was trying to hold out for a sub-$200 1660 Super, but this is almost as good for a great price. It'll certainly be quieter than the 10 year old card I have now.

Don't forget to google an associate's code to get this price. I can't post one but they are readily available and get you 5-10% off on evga products direct from them. Get blacked!

I forgot to mention I'm still hanging on to and old Dell 22" IPS lcd so I don't game beyond 1080p, which this card is known to do well at.

I see. I hate the fact that even old motherboards are still expensive compared to the price of a used chip. I came from a i5 3570k to a ryzen 2600x. Currently waiting and researching on the next gpus...

Thanks. I happened to have an old setup with a mobo that recently crapped out. Was going and forth between a cheap fix of replacing mobo only or just doing a completely new build. I'm hesitating...

I mean, technically you can have a higher card if you wanna run like 1440p or 4k, but then, the older the chip is, the more obvious the bottleneck is. You end up not using your gpu to its highest...

Yes. That includes that as it is an older i5 chip.

Would your advice include a Core i5 4570s?
Post #135254654 added 02-29-2020 6:49 AM by caveman01 in Deal Talk
For those who has older systems (5yr) or more, probably this is the best card you could use without your CPU bottlenecking the GPU, unless you have an older i7 chip and overclocked really high. Not a...

Stick. Even the 1660 isnt even a big upgrade from a 1060, only 10% better. Get a 1660super or higher.

The 1060 6GB is better.
