I have a kettle grill. I've used kingsford briquettes and red oak lump in the past. IMO, lump burns hotter but faster so I tend to use it for quick cook outs. Sometimes I mix in some briquettes if...

Many people think lump produces a better flavor - I am unconvinced though. It does start faster. Seems to burn hotter and quicker for me. I've got a grill that also burns wood so I almost always...

I've used many bags of this stuff (white bag, not red). The reburn on coals that were previous started is essentially non-existent. You get a ton of ash from them. OTOH they are almost half the...

I switched from Kingsford to Royal Oak about a year ago. Royal Oak is cheaper and preforms just as good in my opinion. If you'll look on the Kingsford bag, they do not have anything about hardwood...

Thanks. I hate it when people intermingle Lump and Briquettes. They are both totally different products. I have used both in the past. I was a loyal KBB users until they screwed with the...

I was wondering where the deals were, seems like back in March haha!! The red bags from Lowes that I had were hardwood lump, whereas these are briquettes. But if they were briquettes that you had...

Be advised that Walmart is closing off many of the non essential sections of the store now and lawn and garden is one of them

I agree with the "sparks" comment. I noticed it after I started using this 100%. Originally I was mixing it Other than that I really have no issue with it

I’m pretty sure this is a listing mistake. Hear me out. All Natural is their line of no filler briquette. Ie, no inert limestone which is really most of the “ash” left behind. I bought a...

You didn't stock up when HD was clearing them out for $4/bag? It's ok charcoal, a lot of ash. I don't get as much ash with Royal Oak briquettes. Of course, even less ash with lump wood coal.

I'm a Royal Oak fan and routine BBQer. I would caution folks to try this first before stocking up. I bought 14 bags of this stuff last year and found that it performed quite differently than their...

I don't see your point. Why post. If you don't like it don't use it.
