Yes it applies. BB made ms pay a $45 fee on an OB Z3 Play, even though it was defective (burn in).

The S20 and S20+ didn't have any issues. It was just the S20 Ultra that has the auto focusing issue, which is mostly fixed on the main camera, but still a problem with the telephoto side.
