Nvidia cards can run Freesync if your drivers are up to date. I've got 2 freesync monitors and have never noticed any tearing. The one in the "See Deal" link is an IPS panel.

144Hz is what makes this expensive. It's the same with TVs. 120Hz vs 60Hz is the biggest difference in price for similar size and tech TVs.
