I always found it odd that people care if the body is made of plastic/metal/glass as you'll highly likely cover it up with a nice thick padding of a phone case and you won't feel or really see it...

If you don't have a MacBook, I think is not worth it, lots of problem with windows integration.

I was in the same boat, waterproof is a must, to I snagged an SE2 for $184. Very nice phone, aside from iOS being a pain in the arse
And I would greatly prefer if it had a polycarbonate backside
