More likely the smoke it creates; as making a camp fire often reduces mosquitos as well. Something worth testing.

Citroella candles or perhaps the smoke it creates. Placebo? Who knows. Good article though. It works for me and some others and seems to not work for others.

Is this safe? Not being allowed to eat around makes me worry about how safe it is. Any input appreciated. I’d rather not use DEET. Rubbing cancer on my body doesn’t sound like a smart idea.
