Probably because so many of these low end inflators are so gutless. While I haven't tried this one in particular, the ones I've seen can take 20 minutes to fill a tire...if they work at all.

It will not pump more than 40 psi, I tried to pump 50 psi on a trailer and it died at 44.5 psi. I let it sit cool off for 10-15 mins and it died again after 1 min. Returning there are better...

I bought this a month ago. The thing works well. Pressure reading is accurate, but it adds 1.5 lbs psi to whatever you program it to inflate to. So dial it back, if you aren't completely spastic...

I own this, have used it a few times, digital gauge and auto off works perfectly. With small inflators just use them in spurts, 5 min then let it cool a bit to avoid it overheating.

Tu and repped op. Suggestion using any of these air pumps, start it first and then attach to the tire. This will keep you from blowing fuses.
