Bought 4 of these. First one I tried made my tv and Apple TV flicker. 2nd one works fine. Reluctant to use the others. I wouldn’t recommend.

Your face plate has nothing in it that will stop a fire. They make, and I have several, devices that mount flush to the wall once you remove the face plate.
