Is installing the casters required for functionality or any other reason? I have it in the laundry room and have no plan to need to move it. So can skip the casters if not required to be installed.

I was shopping at Costco and saw this Midea 7.0 cu. ft. Chest Freezer for $159 in Warehouse. It shows $269 online, but it was very easy to load up to Hyundai Tucson. Here is the link for reference...
