Yeah, you need to wear gloves with alcantara. I don't like it either, because I don't want to wear gloves, but it's unfortunately the material of choice for most sim-racing wheels.

yuck, I hate the alcantara wheel in my Camaro. It gets too grimy too quick. It may look good, but it isn't practical without gloves. No way would I buy another one to play games with.
