I don’t really see the benefit of buying this when the XP-Pen tablet is essentially the same thing and it is always this price.

If you go the iPad route, I highly recommend getting Affinity Photo for iPad. IMHO, it's the best photo drawing and manipulation app around for any tablet device. I wish they made it for Android too....
