Mine was cancelled today and amazon told me to contact them and didn't offer $75 credit or anything. I had to keep asking for it and they gave me a $70.98 gift card to lower the $149 to $48.90

I ended up on the phone with Amazon for about 20 minutes they were very polite and eventually provided a 75$ credit that made up the price difference between the current Amazon price and the sellers...

Their practice of asking customer to cancel is explicitly listed by Amazon as a problem. I don't buy the "honest" part in your comment.
