I like the Ikea Legitim $3 cutting boards, 9.5" x 13.5". They are about 3x as thick. Clean and disinfect them in the dishwasher. No warping issues in mine.

Good deal! ...But read through when using a plastic cutting board makes sense and when it doesnt. Always have a wood cutting board in addition to a plastic board especially if you dont eat meat....

Everyones cutting technique is different. If your cutting board does not look as smooth as it was on day 1, that can be an indication.

If you're cutting so hard that plastic is showing up in your food, that would be even worse with wood cutting boards. The problem is your cutting technique or knife not the platform you're cutting on.
