This tv supports EARC 🤔......... Also for the other uninformed guy, unless your gaming on a PC and using this for a monitor I wouldn’t worry too much. HDMI 2.0 supports 1080p @ 120fps, meaning you...

I have a8h and lg c6. I don't think you can go wrong with any oled, a8h, Cx, etc. Sony uses LG oled panels so pictures are going to be beautiful regardless. Android TV on this is pretty seamless...

Actually... I meant 8K but I typed "g" instead of "n". Even though most Avante-Guard Techies regard 802.11n passé and borderline obsolete, maximum theoretical transfer rate of 300 Mbps (and could...

hi, just my 0.01 cents If one looks at how quickly features keep getting added to TV's every year and how quickly the prices have been falling , I'd say a person is better off planning that...

hi, I hope you meant to say 4K, because 8K requires at least 100Mbps, while 4K requires at least 25 Mbps ( 802.11g maxes out at 54 Mbps, under perfect conditions )

Hi, The new 2021 TV's usually start hitting store shelves around March - May, so it is a good possibility this will drop further, but when those clearance sales happen the 2020 TV's go fast

I think HDMI 2.1 matters more than just for games (although it is important there). There's a bunch of other features (eARC for instance, and I'd think the improved responsiveness and lower latency...

Can anyone explain to me why the A9g is still more money? I'd like the center channel speaker functionality but it's not worth like $300 more to me.

That is why i want the Sony a8h. I want a natural picture. I have a dark living room, so it would be fine with me as far as brightness. I am still waiting for the 65" to drop below $1700

Heck.... I've seen people complain because a TV has 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) and not 802.11ax ( Wi-Fi 6) 802.11g can easily and effortlessly stream 8K.

No HDMI 2.1? you'd have to be insane to spend this much money in a 2.0 tv right now. This will be considered trash in a few months (hence the discount now to catch fools before they have to drop it...

No it was the A8H. I grabbed one. The LG CX went on sale for marginally more (I think $1350) around that time as well.
