I enjoyed the movies enough to pick this up. I too was disappointed that they haven't done the third movie (yet). I didn't even realize there were 3 more books after this. Better get to reading!

Great books with a great character arc. Anton starts out naive and average but grows stronger and smarter as the series progresses. Cool premise too.

I've only read the books. I had no idea there was a movie series until this thread. :) I thought these were pretty good. LOL I'm intrigued enough to go check out the films (at least #1)

The movies initially turned me on to the series. The books greatly surpass the movies and after finishing the book series I felt severely disappointed with the movies.
