I generally agree with this. The only advantage of this lens is dramatically reduced size and weight. Otherwise, the Tamron is sharper, faster, better in low light, and has a closer minimum focus...

It's compatible with full frame because it's the same mount (E) as the APS-C, so technically the description is correct. You just wouldn't want to use it on a full frame unless you're OK with...

Imo, I would get the tamron 17-70 f2.8 for apsc over this one unless you really need 16mm. It’s a little more expensive but a whole stop faster.
