i would go with the 10 for the cpu bump, ideally the one with 4gb ram for $109 at best buy. But between those two id get the 10 3gb.

I have a fire HD8 8th generation and it is my go to tablet. These are great for streaming and your typical apps. Use the toolbox as mentioned above. For this price, have realistic expectations.
