I have these batteries installed in the solar panel. Sony | Murata VTC5A 18650 2600mAh 25A I don’t have rechargeable in the cameras.

Which rechargeable batteries are you using for the panel? Does your blink camera also have rechargeable batteries? I ordered the solar panel, should come around the same time as the cameras.

The sync modules works on both camera generations. Sync module 2 has the local storage option, the older one does not.

Yeah in case the solar fails or the batteries in it. And yes 2 slots inside the solar panels for rechargeable batteries.

Thanks for tip. I'll be to sure to charge it, hook it up then put the batteries in. So the batteries inside the camera act as back up? Also, can you insert more than one battery in the panel?

Yes they all have the options to power via usb or battery. The solar panel will have a usb cable that goes into the camera.

The Mini is garbage!!! Plenty of bad reviews issues. I sent mine back with in the 30 day window hoping for a firmware upgrade to fix it. Works for an hour then loses it's connection, power reboot...
