The problem isn't now, the problem is going to be next year when those prices are cut in half and this is still 180+, but you are right, for now this is a good deal.

I'll take these with a higher price anyday over the mess with adding storage to a ps5. Even if it meets all of Sony requirements it's still not guaranteed to work. And I own a ps5 as well...not just...

I get that but these have to come down or double 2TB for same price. Ima just continue using ssd & transfer x/s on principle until they do. :lol:
