I own one of these drives and it works well and is fairly quiet and speedy. Just to point out, itโ€™s not a barracuda, itโ€™s an exos.

I agree with what your saying and I actually think we are saying the same thing here as I said "There are so many variables that could cause a drive to fail... (heat, vibration, Shock for example)". ...

Maybe he's been burned by Seagate drives in the past and like a normal person he values his personal experience above Backblaze statistics. That's exactly the reason I don't buy Seagate anymore.

Wouldn't touch Seagate's Barracuda drives with a 20 ft pole, but IronWolf and EXOS Enterprise are comparable to WD.

no warranty with these since they don't come from an authorized seller... probably from a bulk order, the warranty only applies to the bulk order purchaser since it's not authorized
