OK, how does one set this up as a secondary tank? It has the pin style filler like a valve stem so you'd have to have tire filler adapter to put air in it.

You could change out that entire black hose that has the built-in tire valve stem. (where it connects to that brass connector on the tank) And attach a short whip hose that has a quick connect end...

You can use it with your airbrush compressor. At worst, you might have to buy some thread adapters to match up the hoses, but that's easy and inexpensive.
