It's not complicated. Any DDR4-3200 or DDR4-3600 sticks will run at the default max 2666mhz in your Dell. I have one myself with the 10400 and I have 16GB of DDR4-3600 in it. This would be a good ram...

Don’t know. But in any case, don’t expect much overclocking (beyond XMP profiles) regardless of what chip is being used and is capable of in these “value” sticks. It could be because the stick may...

I have a Dell XPs purchased earlier this year with an i5-10400, thus limited to 2666mhz. Any reason I couldn't still use this rather than buying 2666mhz specific sticks?

Perhaps it is just most of the lower end Desktops which only have two. My HP only has two. The Dell 3000 series has two but the 5000 and 7000 series has four.
