I don't know which country you're in but in the US, you should only use channel 1 or 6 or 11 for WiFi.

I have it with my water boiler on schedule before I wake up and turns on/off via geolocation. Basically all my IoT is on geolocation so no phantom drains from my TV unit or home office when I’m away.
